Ammonia is an important
chemical product ('commodity') with a number of uses.
Ammonia is the second most widespread chemical product
in the world.
Ammonia is used primarily in the production of nitrogen fertilisers.
Therefore it plays an
important role in
feeding mankind.
In addition, ammonia isused in the production of:
pharmaceuticals,
refrigeration, mining,
electronics, water
purification, furniture, polymers, nylon and to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.
The main driver of the increase in demand for ammoniais the production of nitrogenous fertilisers like:
• maritime fuels
• hydrogen carrier
• energy industry fuel.

Green ammonia made from renewable hydrogen is the most efficient green hydrogen carrier. Also entire ammonia market shall be replaced with renewable one.

This demand will be almost quadrupled by demand for ammonia fuels until 2050.
Someone has to be part of this revolution. Jordanian project has a chance to play a huge role in it.
